    What does it cost?

    The download is free. The agent works on your Claude or ChatGPT plan, and a whole film is a long session, so expect it to use a real share of your plan’s limits. Paid image, video or voice generation is optional, quoted before it runs and capped by a budget you set.

    Who sees my code?

    Montage’s servers never do. Projects, renders and API keys stay on your Mac. Your agent sends what it reads to Anthropic or OpenAI, as it does when you code. Optional generation goes only to the provider you approve.

    Do I need to use Terminal?

    No. Montage installs Claude Code and signs you in from inside the app. Everything happens in Montage’s own window.

    Can I change the film myself?

    Comment on any frame and the director revises it. Every shot is also plain HTML in a folder you own, so you can open it in your editor whenever you like.

    Which design tools does it work with?

    Drop a Pen design and Montage reads its screens directly. Paste a Figma link, your website or your repo and the director works from them. Shots use your real UI, fonts and colors.

    Is the music safe to use?

    The built-in music is CC0, and every sound effect lists its license. QA blocks an export if a sound has none. The music on this page comes from that same library.
